Overview

PRV9i is the revolutionary 9 bar interchangeable pressure regulating valve, custom-designed by Walter Frank engineers. Our FM Approved PRV9i range provides a complete solution to pressure regulation in building protection, offshore and petrochemical environments. Its interchangeable cartridge system offers maintenance and operational benefits over conventional valves. 'Through-life' cost is maximised due to quicker and easier servicing with minimal down-time.

Origination

Walter Frank developed PRV9i in response to the demand for a genuine 2 N.B pressure regulating valve, with the additional benefit of a wider outlet setting range of 3.5 to 9 bar. The design has been developed from the existing Frank Type 3 range of modular PRVs, but with the enhanced outlet setting range. Walter Frank understands the importance of continued research and development, and is currently researching spring technology to offer even better valve performance.

Application

The PRV9i range has been designed to satisfy the extreme conditions found in petro-chemical and offshore environments and has been installed in the following projects:

  • Wheatstone LNG onshore (Western Australia)
  • ZADCO (United Arab Emirates)
  • Crossrail (London, UK)
  • Bishopgate Tower 'The Pinnacle' (London, UK)

UK Made and Quality Assured

Trust and reliability are fundamentals of supply for safety critical environments. Quality is assured by our FM Approval, BS9990 accreditation and ISO certified Quality Management System. Casting, machining, assembly, testing and calibration are all performed in our UK production facility.
